My passport photo!!! Do all passport photo's look this bad? Hi, and thanks for comming to visit my first home page on the net. It's been fun putting this piece together, and I hope you find it interesting.

Over the following pages, following the links below, you'll find a variety of pictures and notes of my travels around the world. Ranging from holidays in Indonesia, visits to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, and Europe, to living in Australia and New Zealand.

You'll also find links leading you to a wealth of information on various countries, their local newspapers, job opportunities (for example teaching English in Thailand), and great places to purchase you next airline ticket and hotel reservations at reasonable prices.

Above is a copy of my passport photo, do all passport photo's really look this bad???. It was taken after my holiday in Phuket Thailand after travelling through Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand by train. I stayed in the less tourist populated area of Kata Beach, where the cost of living was amazingly low and the people generally friendly. Thailand, known of the land of smiles, certainly is that.

To the right is a standard net picture of a Chinese boy, in traditional dress.

Phuket Jeeps This is the jeep I travelled around Phuket in, with my now, ex-girlfriend. It was more tiring hiring it from one of the local car hire shops, than driving it in the heat, where the price started at 3000 Thai Baht, which I knocked down to 700 Baht per day. Bartering is certainly the way ahead when travelling through much of South East Asia, as intial quoted prices are always inflated. Always make sure insurance is included in the price, and NEVER leave your passport as security deposit when asked.
